The Importance of Dental Care
I?ve read some useful information in an article from Greatist talking about the importance of dental care in our overall health and wellness.
According to Katherine Schreiber, author of the article, the human mouth build is a place where bad bacteria regularly stay in. Failing to take care of your teeth may result tooth decay, cavities, and gum disease.
Moreover, oral bacteria run in the blood stream which can cause diseases that are not only found in the mouth. Based on research, neglecting dental care can contribute to the occurrence of diseases such as Alzheimer?s disease, cardio vascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, premature birth, and stress.
So if you don?t want to have the following diseases mentioned earlier, it is advisable to brush your teeth at least twice a day for 2 minutes. Do not also forget to floss at least once a day as this will clean the portions between the teeth that the tooth brush cannot reach.
To be more sure and fresh clean, it is recommendable to rinse with antimicrobial wash for 30 to 60 seconds. Moreover, always remember to change your toothbrush every 4 months to avoid encountering microbes that continue to build up in the bristles.

Reasons Why Women Sports are Not So Dominant
An article in Greatist is questioning why women?s sports are not much of a big factor in media television. Instead of their game, mot media reporters and directors focus on the looks of the athletes such as Maria Sharapova, Brandi Chastain, and Serena Williams.
To know the reason for this, Erin Whiteside, media researcher and professor at the University of Tennessee, surveyed 19 heterosexual married women with kids. Majority of these respondents don?t watch women?s sports because their main priority in the house is to ensure cleanliness and safety of their children. Besides that, they only depend to their husband?s choice of channel. This only means that there is still male dominance even where else you go.
The data of Whiteside may not be sufficient enough to firmly conclude something because of the low number of respondents. But for Katherine Schreiber, the reason why women?s sports are not much featured in the media because in the media world, there still exist of male dominance. To prove that, she mentioned that 94 percent of sports editors are male and 90 percent of their assistance are also male.
All these reasons just bring us to the fact, that the sporting world is purely occupied by men. But with all of this, there is still room for change given that the women?s sports are growing in an incredible rate.
